Lucara Diamond Corp is a Canadian diamond mining company focused on the development and operation of diamond properties in Africa. The company owns a 100% interest in the Karowe mine in Botswana, one of the world's foremost producers of large, high-quality Type IIA diamonds. Lucara is known for recovering some of the largest rough diamonds ever unearthed, including the 1,758 carat Sewelô, the 1,109 carat Lesedi La Rona, and the 2,488 carat Motswedi. In addition to mining, Lucara operates the Clara Platform, a digital sales platform for rough diamonds. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
